The Liberation of Kherson was the recapture of the city of Kherson and other areas of Kherson Oblast and parts of Mykolaiv Oblast on the right bank of the Dnipro river by the Armed Forces of Ukraine , while the russian Armed Forces withdrew to the left bank. The events were a result of the 2022 Ukrainian southern counteroffensive on 9-11 November 2022.
